What is a Reading?:

A psychic reading is any session where a querent seeks information and/or guidance from another individual in the hope of getting resolutions to problems, or to see what is in store for their future. This definition could cause lot of confusion about what a psychic reading truly is.

In the part of Dallas I live, there are many “Psychic Advisors” and “Palm Readers”. They are very popular and serve to help people “sort out” their everyday problems by giving a short, but fleeting insight into a future that could be. I say a future that “could be” only because I believe that the future is not set in stone and that we, as the Creator, make it happen. Please, don’t get me wrong. I have studied divination and believe there is credence in such things as astrology, numerology, and the Tarot. My personal choice is to not use them inside of a reading that a person needs to deal with lifelong issues. I don’t consider the readings I give to be fortune telling, nor divination. I can accommodate those requests and have the tools to oblige, but I only do so at the request of the individual. I find that people are not looking for a temporary fix for what is going on in their life; rather they want answers to help the move forward in their life.

A reading with me will not necessarily tell your future. There have been rare occasions that future events have been brought into the conversation, but I find those bits of information ALWAYS tie to the question at hand. At a casual outing with some friends, the topic of psychic connections came up. After a discussion about auras, guides, psychic manifestations with young children, Saliah gave me a vivid impression that the sister of my friend was having conversations with her current boyfriend about having another child. I confirmed this with her, and immediately she told her sister. "How could you POSSIBLY know that?” was the response. This bit of information confirmed what she had been feeling about guides. This revelation led to her to become more at ease with what her Guides were trying to show her, and ultimately allowed her to start communicating effectively with her own Guides.

When I started researching and studying what was involved in a psychic reading, I sought out many individuals to do readings for me. The session ranged from sessions in numerology, Tarot, Ruin reading, crystal therapy, Reiki, and as many other session I could attend. I got something out of each one of the sessions. Some I got that “gut” feeling about some of the information. You know that feeling that “this just isn’t right.” I can recall one reading with a Wiccan Spiritualist who was doing a ruin stone reading with me. She was telling me all sorts of things. “You will be expecting a baby with your wife soon.” (Funny…I had to tell that one to my partner Danny.) And I did get that “gut” feeling, and let it pass. Near the end of the reading she tapped into Guides and began telling me that I should work closely with my Guides, “especially the one that is with you now, here name is Seka, the short woman with black hair. Mayan by decent.” I knew immediately that she was talking about Saliah. She then corrected herself and said, “but you don’t call her Seka, you’ve named her something else…that is the way she wants it kept. Call her what you call her.” That part of the reading rang true with me, and I took it to heart. So even if “parts” of a reading sometimes don’t ring true…there could be parts that can be used. Use your own intuition.

When you seek out a reading, you initiate a meeting with the Divine. You set yourself in alignment to receive information that would normally be hidden to you. By taking the steps to enter into a reading, you set the atmosphere for Receiving. The Divine wishes to touch you and enrich your life. You initiate that Divine interaction by taking action. A reading surfaces a new awareness, and inside light that illuminates those answers that are hidden from your consciousness.

Be aware that Readings not only give you access to Divine Answers, they also give you access to Divine Questions that are equally powerful. These Divine Questions are for you to dwell on in your daily life and exist to unlock your Divine nature. Be Blessed.”
